The warm sounds of the Caribbean and South America are coming to Sauk Trail on Friday, February 16th, from 5:30-7:00pm. Food will be served from approximately 5:30-6:15; the salsa dancing and live music will be from 6 to 7pm.
Sauk Trail’s awesome PTO is putting this event together, along with Mr. Becker, who is leading the live band playing music of Cuba, Puerto Rico, Brazil, and Argentina. Danielle Krbecek, one of our school nurses, and members of the Middleton High School Dance Team are demonstrating dance steps that evening. Some of art teacher Bryce St. Peter’s students will have their “salsa” themed creations on display, as well.  The live band, funded through a district Global Initiative Grant, will be Laurie Croasdale on bass, Paul Hastil on piano, Chris Wagoner on violin, and Mr. Becker on drums and percussion. If you can help with this event, please contact the PTO at or use the Sign Up Genius at
