The PTO is about child advocacy. Thanks to the support of the Sauk Trail community, the PTO offers enrichment field trips such as the Farmers’ Market, Overture Center, Madison Children’s Museum and local farms. Students enjoy events at the school such as Farm to School tastings and after school clubs, and we show appreciation for teachers and staff by coordinating lunches during Teacher Appreciation Week. Additionally, the PTO sponsors activities for the entire family with the annual Spaghetti Dinner, Thanksgiving Dinner and Winter Tea. These activities are only possible through the support of the Sauk Trail families.
As a parent or guardian of a Sauk Trail Student you are a member of the PTO! If you’re looking for a way to get involved at school, we can help. Our volunteers are in the school but also at home. Any amount of time you can give is great, whether it’s two hours a year or two hours a week. Whatever works best for you, we can make it work!
Information about PTO events can be found on the this website and through flyers distributed throughout the year, and PTO Board meetings are always open to parents for information and input. No amount of parent involvement is too small, so please join us in working toward the PTO’s goal of a quality education and nurturing environment for every child.
